But if you're really busy, I'd think about disguising it with the sash. It looks as though the fabric slipped underneath your presser foot. They have a special foot for slippery fabrics. So either take two stitches, lift and then lower, or handstitch in place to keep the fabric neat. I recently attempted my first invisible zipper and I don't know if I'll ever go back to the other kind. I found it easier.
