Abstract Top

I made something worth sharing with you! It's a free pattern from BurdaStyle.com. I like free. Who doesn't?
Masty generously shared a pattern for a basic, but flattering top. It is sized at 38, but can very simply be graded to a different size.

First of all, I kinda adore the fabric, and I couldn't pass up the sale that it was on. Isn't it gorgeous? It's actually a polyester knit of surprisingly good quality. I know, I know, it's polyester. But turns out, it's quite pleasant to wear!

The pattern is named "My favourite tee's little brother", and here is the link to the pattern.
As this is my first time using this pattern, I will be making a few changes in future iterations of this top. The shoulders will need to be adjusted to fit my broader width in that area. I think slightly longer sleeves would be nice too.

Oh, and you will notice that I did add an additional ruffle layer to the bottom. This is because I am fond of longer shirts. It does add some charm to the top, don't you think?

I will be making more versions of this top, now that I've figured out what needs to be changed.

I just found your blog and I LOVE it. I've spent way too long looking through all your past posts wishing I could sew as well as you. Good Job and can't wait to read more. :)
