Revisiting New Look 6729

I have been trying to get back into some garment sewing, and I remembered my favourite pattern, the New Look 6729. The tops that I had made from this pattern is starting to show a lot of wear and I thought that a new version will be just the thing!

I did a review of this pattern before, but I like it so much that I want to do another official review on pattern review.
This pattern is no longer in print, but I have seen some being sold on online auction sites. This is such a good pattern for beginners and such a quick sew if you are pretty comfortable sewing knits.

I made a cut size 8, view C, which is the pink top you see in the picture above, although I made it a little longer

I really like this top because it makes me look as though as I have a waistline, even though I am actually more rectangularly shaped.

The longer length is flattering too.
 Back view:

It's very comfortable and very cute. I do so love this pattern.

Love the detailing on this top--the criss-cross is very flattering. Great color too!

This is super cute. Wonder if I could make room for my baby belly in there? Might have to seek out the pattern and give it a whirl!
