It's such a cute vintage style pattern. After looking at all the beautiful swimsuits in the "Finished Project" section, I knew that I had to give the pattern a shot.
Everything I've read about this pattern is that the instructions is severely lacking. And when I scanned through the instructions, it is no joke. There might as well have been no instructions. Heh.Anyway, I did look around for help, and found Kitty Couture's Step by Step instructions.
Honestly, I couldn't keep up with her instructions, either. I'm such an idiot because I need pictures.... sigh!

Super cute print! I've found with my kids' swim suits, if it gapes when it's new, it only gets looser...do you think this fabric will loosen up?
Man, yoga really pays off, doesn't it? ;-)
The suit is super flatting on you!
Very cute fabric and finished suit. I sewed the Alison suit (my very first swim suit) last summer. It was scary, for sure! But you did a great job.

If you sew an elastic, slightly stretched around the back opening that should solve the gape-age problem. Cute suit!
I can't tell any gaping, it is a beautiful and so well sewn. Maybe you could share your instructions with us on another one or something? I need loads of photos too!
How did I miss this post?
GORGEOUS swimsuit -- I love the style!
