The fair that I attended was a fundraising fair for the Escouade Caravane.
The Escouade Caravane is a group of volunteers who go to Peru twice a year to help out with women and children. They are a pretty cool bunch!
Anyway, the fair was really small. Perhaps, if I was to guess a high number, I would think that about 200 people attended. It's a shame that the attendance was low, because there were a nice variety of vendors. I also loved the live performances. There was ballroom dancing, belly dancing, some traditional Peruvian dances and a very awesome Jazz band.
Well, on a positive note, because the attendance was low and I did not have to serve customers, I got to see those performances! :)
Here I am with Claudia. We took a couple of pictures together, and in both photos, I don't look very impressed. However, I swear! I was really happy to be there....
If there is one thing I've learned, it is that I need to find a better way to display my products.
I'm glad that we did this fair even though I can't say that I made a killing. Let's just say, I had a LOT of fun!
