Sometimes, that's just the way things go, but I think I may bring out the ole sewing machine again.
On the morning before I left for vacation, I hastily grabbed a couple of circular knitting needles and some yarn from my stash. I figured that I may need something to keep me occupied during the flight and other down time during the vacation. Thank goodness I did that because, I found that I indeed had some down time. Couldn't read all the time, ya know!
(BTW, I flew on WestJet. Love their planes with the personal tv screens. My kids loved the Treehouse and Discovery programs. They watched over 2 hours of TV. I know, I know! Hey, but they were the best behaved little travelers. )
Anyway, turns out, I grabbed yarn meant for making baby stuff, but decided to go and try to make a fall beret for me.
Well.... it was a little small....
But some one has a fancy new fall beret!
