I wish I can capture the texture and feel of the knit fabric for you. I guess that you just have to trust me when I say that it is very, very comfortable!
Anyway, here is the picture of me wearing the top.

As lovely as the top was, it was a little loose around the chest area. It kept flopping over, and leaving a gap around my non-existing cleavage. I guess that the top was made for someone a little better endowed than me. Call me a prude ("Prude!"), but I was uncomfortable going around flashing my bra.
After the alteration:
I used a seam ripper, and sewing machine to remove about 3 inches from the top front of the blouse. I did not rip the seams all the way, only seam that connects the front panel and the arms.A great fit makes all the difference!
