First of all, I just wanted to share a quick refashion with you. I'm very excited about this refashion, because it made an unwearable dress into a skirt that I can wear this spring.
This is the dress:
It is such cute dress.I bought it for a song about a year ago, in a cute little boutique near Brunswick, Georgia. It was a really good price because one of the panels was sewn on backwards. I bought it because I loved the fabric combinition, and thought that I could easily fix the problem.
Having tried the dress a few times though, I realized that it made me look either:
a) like a 5 year old pretending to be a grown-up
b) like a grown up pretending to be a 5 year old
c) pregnant.
Not. Good.
That's why I'm so glad that by removing the pink panel and the straps, that the dress can now be worn as a skirt.

What has smoke meat got to do with this post?
My husband took Monday off, so we decided to take the family down to Montreal for a quick visit. We did not do too much for spring break this year, so we thought that it may be fun to take the kids to the science museum.
When we arrived on Sunday, we arrived smack-dab in the middle of the St. Patrick's Day parade. Turns out that there is a huge Irish population in Montreal. Anyway, I wish I could have taken pictures for you, because there were some crazy floats. However, neither hubby nor I had wanted to relinquish our death grips on our kids. After all, there were quite a few drunk college kids hanging around. So, no pictures.
We did lucked out and stumbled upon Dunn's Famous. I'm guessing that this may be the original location of the franchise. My husband loves smoked meat and this is a family friendly place. So, in we went. Of course, I had to have the smoked meat sandwich.
And well, this was the small order.
