Just to refresh your memory, this is what it looked like after the first refashion attempt:
Well, it just didn't fit very well. That shirt proceeded to sit around for a week taunting me. I mulled over it, and considered tossing it into the donation pile.
Finally, I decided that I just couldn't put it off any longer.
Off came the sleeves. And they were shaped into little footballs, just because I felt like it (yeah, no real plans there). Then the "footballs were folded into comfy straps:
Reduced the width of the shirt, chopped off the collar and shoulder and attached the straps. I also added two watermelon buttons.
The result:
She likes it a lot.
