Small Satisfying Projects

Sometimes, after a project has failed, a small, successful project is what needed to restore my confidence.

First, a simple cellphone holder using scrap material. I should have done this ages ago!
So simple, yet useful. Pretty unique, too

Another small refashion:

I shortened this skirt.

I love the plaid wool and the lovely high-waisted style. However, it was simply too long and it went down all the way to the largest part of my calf. A little too old-fashioned for my taste. Anyway, it looks great now, a simple hemming at the bottom and I was ready to go. I won't bother posting a shortened skirt. I'm sure you know how that looks like.

With the leftover material and the lining of the skirt, I pieced together this:

Using indietute's tutorial, I made a scoodie for Sophia. It's such a cool project - go check it out!

Oh, I also made this smallish but strong reversible tote bag (I inserted interfacing in between) to use as a lunch bag. I used up a lot of leftover material here too.

Wow, I just realized that I have churned out quite a bit. Well then, I feel much better now!
