Casserole Carrier can be used as a Pie Holder too!

Remember the casserole carrier I made (click here for the tutorial)?
Well, the last time I went to my friend Marcia's house, I brought a Raspberry Trifle (can you say yum?). Well, it turns out, that the casserole carrier held the trifle bowl even better than a casserole pan. Of course, I gave that carrier to Marcia. I love Marcia, and since she liked the carrier, it was all hers.

Then, I made 2 of these:

Why two? Well, this time, I was going over to Janet's for dinner. Janet's my DIY friend who never blinks an eye at me when I ask to borrow very specific tools. I mean, the girl has every tool imaginable.
"Can I borrow a tile cutter?", I ask. "Sure thing", she says. "How about a mortar stirrer that you connect to a drill? Do you have that?", I ask, not really that hopeful. "Of course. Do you want to grout spreader too?" Well, you get the idea.
Anyway, I made two because one was for her, kind of a little 'thank you'. I think she liked it.

The whole point of that is, that this is a easy carrier to make, it makes a great hand made gift and it can be used as a casserole/pie/trifle bowl carrier.

Make one for yourself today!
